Summer Tracks—Tryon’s most popular music series—continues its 25th season July 25 with Ashley Heath and Her Heathens. Though often compared to her influences, Bonnie Raitt and Norah Jones, Heath has been winning over the hearts of Americana music lovers since 2015 with a voice and sound all her own. She and her Heathens have been voted Best of WNC in Songwriting, Blues and Americana/Country, and Vocal categories by Mountain Express readers; won the MerleFest band competition; and have appeared on WNCW’s Top 100 list. In 2022, Heath released her third album Something to Believe. She and her Heathens have been featured at top music events such as MerleFest, Bonnaroo, and Shakori Hills Music Festival. The Heathens features Ashley Heath (guitar, vocals), Hinton Edgerton (drums, vocals), Michael Dunham (bass, vocals) and Patrick French (guitar, vocals).
