Bring any tools you may have and a positive attitude.
What are we doing?
Trimming, cutting back face slappers, raking, picking up garbage and clearing out debris.
What's needed?
If you have hand tools at home, please bring them (machetes, pruners, or loppers, snippers, hedge trimmers, blowers, ...) Don't have tools? No problem! We will give you some.
Please wear good closed shoes, sun block, and bug spray. Bring the nutrition and hydration you may need.
Where are we meeting?
We will meet up at the storage container located south of the trailhead entrance between around 7:45AM to discuss the action plan. Tools up at 8:00AM. There will be a marker of sorts where the chain across the south access road entrance will be down for you to drive in so there is no need to park at Freedom Park, or along Pinehurst Drive.
If you want ride afterwards then bring your bike! Some of the volunteers will do a ride after maintenance.
