Be part of creating a beautiful, collaborative artwork that celebrates the people and stories of Castleford!
We’re building a large tree installation as part of the Castleford Routes project – a living artwork filled with the journeys, memories, and future hopes of our community.
Join us for a free Silk Painting Workshop at Castleford Art Space, Carlton Lanes Shopping Centre, where you’ll:
✨ Paint a unique silk leaf inspired by your own memories or hopes for Castleford
✨ Add your personal message, drawing, or symbol to the leaf
✨ See your creation become part of a vibrant tree sculpture that will be unveiled at our big public event this autumn
Every leaf tells a story – and together, they will form a canopy of voices from across the town.
No art experience needed – just come along, have fun, and leave your mark on this lasting community artwork.
