Round 2. We're heading to Castle Hill to get our mitts on some of the best limestone boulders in the world!
This trip will be geared towards beginners or those looking to head outside for the first time. There will be lots of opportunities learn how to clean routes and spot/place pads correctly. If you'd love to get bouldering outdoors but don't know how to get started, this trip is for you! There will be something for everyone, regardless of ability.
We will meet at the UCSA carpark on Saturday the 26th July at 8:00am, and be back in Christchurch around 6pm. The only cost associated with this trip is the fuel money for your driver.
Please bring your own food, water and sun protection.
If you have climbing shoes and chalk bring them, however a pair of sneakers will be fine.
Castle Hill is a seriously cool place and it's also conservation area and cultural site so please be respectful as always.
