It's hot, let's float!! We'll meet up at Milo McIver park near the upper ramp, drop in at the Upper Ramp and float to Barton Park. We'll need to coordinate leaving vehicles at Barton to help shuttle people back.
Bring your floating, tubes, kayaks, sunscreen, waterproof bags, sunnies and beverages. I recommend a paddle to move faster in the slow spots.
Pack in, Pack out.
NO INFLATABLE COOLERS they fall over and litter the river with cans.
There is a $5 parking permit at both parks. We'll figure out how to shuttle people between.
