Get to Know the Sugar River Paddle

Join long-time members Bill and Lisa Keen on a guided paddle down the Upper Sugar River. The Keenβs will share information about Water Quality Monitoring, the State Natural Area, and end with the Davidson House history. Upper Sugar will be providing the canoes, paddles, and PFDs.
Parking information: Meet at Sugar River Valley Road Boat Launch parking lot. As a group we will caravan vehicles down to Dane County Parks Davidson Unit and then shuttle people back to Valley Road to begin the paddle.
4:30 meet up, 5:00 pm start
Each canoe holds 2-3 people (or 4 if 2 are little ones). Paddles and PFDs will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you have them.
Registration is limited to 5 canoes total.
The cost for this event is $40 per canoe.
Agenda for the event - Push off from Valley Road and paddle to the Stone House (1hr on the river).
