Get ready for an exciting scavenger hunt that promises fun for the whole family!
Throughout the entire months of June and July, challenge yourself to find all the beautiful origami art pieces scattered throughout downtown. Complete your scavenger hunt card for a chance to win a prize.
INSTRUCTIONS:
-Print your scavenger hunt amp online or pick up at the Library or Bookstore of Glen Ellyn.
-Write the name of the origami object next to the participating store on your Scavenger Map.
-The 27 origami pieces each include a sign detailing its name, designer and description at a different storefront in Downtown Glen Ellyn.
-Return the completed Origami Scavenger Hunt card to either the Glen Ellyn Public Library or the Bookstore of Glen Ellyn by August 1, 2025.
-By submitting the card, you will receive a prize and be entered for a chance to win 4 tickets to Hokusai and Ukiyo-e: The Floating World.
-At the conclusion, in August, all origami pieces will be available to view at the Glen Ellyn Public Library.
-Join the Wrap-Up party with an exciting Tsukasa Taiko Drumming performance hosted by the Glen Ellyn Public Library on August 9, 2-3PM. Registration Required.
This event is in celebration of the Cleve Carney Museum of Art's Hokusai exhibition, in partnership with the Bookstore of Glen Ellyn and the Glen Ellyn Public Library, we invite you to participate in the Origami Summer Scavenger Hunt.
