The Seth Demonstration Forest property consists of 121 acres is located just east of the town of Easton. This small forested tract was gifted to the State of Maryland by Mary W. Seth in 1928 that, according to the deed, βshall be under management of the State Department of Forestry and used to demonstrate proper forestry practices.β This property has been managed over the past 80 years by the Forest Service.
A band of merry trail-advocates have been working tirelessly to make the trails in the Forest more hospitable to all users by removing fallen trees, clearing brush and marking the routes.
Bring your gloves, bug spray, water and garden tools to help in their efforts! The parking lot is small but can accommodate 5-8 cars at the Park's entrance on Dover Neck Rd. just South of Barker's Landing Rd. There is also on street parking on Michael Ave. in the Easton Club East Development. Walk directly East to meet up with the other parking lot.
