National Mead Day Celebration at Folklore

Raise your glass and join us on Saturday, August 2nd as we honor one of history's most cherished drinks - mead! This year is extra special as we're now using honey exclusively from our own Folklore hives, bringing you truly local brews.

We will have 5 Folklore Meads on tap! You can try: Cyser Apple Mead, Blueberry Mead, Raspberry Mead: Bright, tart, Odin's Beard, and Honeymoon Suite—all made on site at our Dothan Brewery.

Create your own tasting adventure with a flight, or dip your toes with complimentary samples if you're new to the world of mead.

This National Mead Day also marks the debut of our very own Folklore Honey - your chance to take home a jar of liquid gold from our local hives! 🍯

What exactly is mead? Often called "honey wine," it's one of humanity's oldest fermented beverages, made by fermenting honey with water and sometimes fruits or spices. Our flight offers the perfect introduction to its diverse flavors and styles. Come explore the magic of mead with us!
