Ohakamairi

Ohakamairi refers to the traditional Japanese practice of visiting and tending to family graves during the Obon season. This simple but meaningful act of service reflects our respect and gratitude for those who came before us. In Regina, we come together to honour and remember our extended "Regina Japanese-Canadian Family" who have provided guidance, care, and connection within our community. We will visit graves at both Riverside Memorial and the Regina Cemetery.
