Meditation has been used for thousands of years as a self-regulating tool and catalyst for self-awareness and self-management, improved personal and professional relationships, and improved cognitive function. This rich history makes it a perfect fit for modern life. Reiki is a safe, non-invasive healing practice that encourages the body toward balance. Balance is important because your body can only heal itself when your nervous system is calm―traumatized bodies don’t heal. Practicing meditation and Reiki together has many benefits including: Increased focus & stamina Decreased anxiety Better balance, physically, emotionally, mentally & spiritually Feeling more in control & refreshed Awakening of your personal energy Deepened connection with self, the world, and your place in it Improved relationships So much more Everyone is welcome to attend Mindfulness Meditation. What to wear: Please wear something comfortable What to bring: Please bring a yoga mat/towel, bolster or pillow, blanket, eye mask/towel for comfort as we will be lying on the ground for an hour. We do offer mats, bolsters and blankets if needed.
