Paddle Trip: Turtle Creek
Advertisement
Join us for a easy going paddle on Turtle Creek. Do not let the word "Creek" fool you! A tributary of the Rock River, Turtle Creek winds its way for over 30 miles from Turtle Lake near Delavan, Wisconsin to the Rock River in South Beloit, Illinois.
During our paddle we will also encounter Tiffany Bridge, a historic, hand-built, 5-arch limestone railroad bridge and one of the most photographed historic icons in Rock County. While not a challenging paddle, we are on moving water and some kayak experience is required.
