Learn what makes a great picture POP! In Digital Photography I, we will start from ground zero and cover basic camera functions, composition, the principles of light, and archiving. We will also cover basic photographic tools such as tripods, filters, flashes, etc. This class is designed for those new to the photography world or those wanting to improve their photography without getting too technical. Owning a digital camera prior to taking this course and having basic computer skills are highly recommended.

• The essentials to a great image
• Creating an image and basic camera operations
• Composition
• Key lighting concepts
• Tools of the trade
• How to manage, optimize, and archive images
• Hands-on projects, assignments & contests!

Class Duration: Three 2-Hour Sessions - or - One 6-Hour Session Prerequisites: None

Class Fees: $100 per student

Class Size Limit: 8-15 depending on venue
