We're thrilled to have Tracy Farr in the shop to chat about her third novel Wonderland, published by The Cuba Press. Janis Freegard will be chairing the conversation.
Wonderland, was awarded the 2024 NZSA Laura Solomon Cuba Press Prize. In a bold reimagining, set in Te Motu Kairangi Miramar Peninsula, Wellington 1912 Marie Curie β famous for her work on radioactivity β comes to Aotearoa and discovers both solace and wonder.
Janis Freegard is a writer of fiction and poetry. Her short story collection Wild, Wild Women, won the ATB | ITK 2023 award for short stories. Her most recent poetry publication is Reading the Signs (The Cuba Press, 2020), a prose poem sequence. Her novel, The Year of Falling, was published by MΔkaro Press in 2015.
