Explore the great outdoors with Guided Nature Walks hosted by the Mr. & Mrs. F.L. Schlagle Library as part of the Parks and Recreation Month celebrations. These free walks are a great way to connect with nature and learn about local wildlife and plant life.
The first walk will take place on Saturday, July 19 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM as part of the Christmas in July festivities. A second walk will be held on Monday, July 28 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Both walks will begin at the library.
Be sure to bring water, hiking shoes, bug spray, and sunscreen. Join LuAnn, who will bring the forest to life with stories, laughs, and wild facts that everyone can enjoy. All ages are welcome. Come ready to explore and discover something new!
