Creative Play and Cocktails: Make a Miró Impression “Printmaking Maker Night”

Foster your creative potential in this curated after-hours experience devoted to exploring a work of art on view in the museum and particular media—while socializing with friends and enjoying a snack and drink. This evening’s activity will be inspired by one of Joan Miró’s abstract lithographs on view in Lasting Impressions: Shaping a Personal Collection. Participants will explore printing abstract shapes on paper to create their own prints to take home. Participants will receive brief context about the artist, a ‘kit” of materials, and instructions for making simple prints.

Your ticket includes one cocktail and snacks in addition to materials and access to the third floor of the Museum. Live music performed by Los Yumas Quartet 6-8 p.m.
