Fern Spores ( https://fernspores.com) is a femme-folk-rock band hailing from Olympia, WA. With a sound that’s as raw and captivating as it is intentional, they weave gritty guitar leads, haunting fiddle melodies, and powerhouse vocals that leave audiences spellbound. Fronted by singer-songwriter Alyssa Nunke (guitar) and Jade Kovats (lead guitar), with Abigail Ryle (violin), Caroline Robin (cello, bass), and Katie Welch (drums). Their harmonies weave a lush sonic landscape accented by Nunke’s reverb soaked 1970’s telephone microphone. Gracefully flowing between vintage psych folk, garage rock, clever covers, and soulful Americana ballads they curate a truly original sound.
