Local food trading loop - Wyndham/Edendale info session

Robyn Guyton from the Riverton Environment Centre is organising another trading loop like the Longwood Loop, that would come through Wyndham and Edendale. This is a great opportunity to support Southland businesses, skip the middle man and get a wide range of fresh food/goods available locally.
We are holding an info session for anyone interested. The trading loop would circle central and eastern Southland, and set up an "online shop" where local food producers can offer their products and have it delivered weekly to trading posts in each town along the loop. This means our primary source of fruits and veges is our neighbours, and not a big company.
No producer is too small, even someone with a couple extra tomatoes in their backyard can put them up for sale!
If that sounds like it's up your alley, come along! Brief presentation followed by Q+A and then open up for discussion.
If you're not able to make it but still interested, please let me know 👍
