KEY WEST MODERN DANCE 2025!

Get ready Key West! Key West Modern Dance 2025 at the CoffeeMill’s By the Bay Studio returns with an amazing lineup of teachers! A week long pre-professional workshop dedicated to modern and contemporary dance runs Monday, July 28-Saturday, August 2. KWMD is a full immersive study experience with invited teachers from major American dance companies for a total of 18 technique, repertory and composition classes, some accompanied with live music. Classes run from 10:30a-3:30p each day. Performance opportunities and film documentaries included. All classes are mixed level and open to students from 10yrs-Adult. Maurizio Nardi, artistic director and former Principal Dancer with the Martha Graham Dance Company will be joined by Cisco Graciano, freelance artist, dance film creator, photographer and former Principal Dancer with the Paul Taylor Dance Company and Adele Nickel, freelance artist, former member of Liz Gerring Dance Company and assistant professor of dance at Sam Houston State University TX.
