Celebrating the Life of Bill Thomson (Farmer Bill)
📍 August 30 at 2:00 PM – on the farm
📍 The Knotty Cowgirl – 7676 Pacific Rim Highway
Please join us as we gather to honour the incredible life of our Dad, Bill Thomson, better known to many as Farmer Bill.
A proud third-generation Thomson, Dad’s roots ran deep in this land, and so did his love for farming, 4-H, and community.
From judging 4-H shows to sponsoring trophies and mentoring young farmers, Dad gave generously of his time, energy, and heart. He believed in hard work, good stories, and showing up for others —traits that built not just crops, but connections.
We’ll be celebrating him in true Farmer Bill fashion, outdoors, on the farm he loved. This won’t be a sombre affair. It’ll be stories, laughter, and memories, just the way he would’ve wanted.

🚜 We’ll have side-by-side shuttles available to help anyone needing a hand from their vehicle to the venue
Come as you are, bring a memory, and help us give one hell of a send-off to a man who meant so much to so many. ❤️
