Rexburg VFW is hosting:
Freeman Medical for a class on Bleeding Control!
Friday, July 25th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
What do you do in an emergency?
How do I stop massive bleeding?
What do I do if me or my friends or family are hurt and bleeding after a car crash or while hiking? camping? hunting?
What happens when you get distracted in the kitchen and cut yourself pretty bad?
Freeman Medical has the class for you. Making sure that the area around you or a victim is safe, stopping massive bleeding, and what to do before emergency services arrives to help keep yourself or someone else alive could make the difference in living and dying.
Class $50/ person 15 years old and above. Includes a medical training kit to keep (that you can re-fill and use as your personal bleeding control kit)
14 and under free but need to share a kit with their parent/guardian who attends with them.
By attending you will also have the chance to win one of the following raffle prizes:
Refuge Medical bleeding control kit ($110 value)
Rhino Medical bleeding control kit ($45 value)
Medresq bleeding control kit ($20 value)
CAT tourniquet ($30 value)
