Dr. Jessie Stone sits down with Jackson Laboratory Scientific Director Nadia Rosenthal to talk lessons learned from her 20+ years of experience bringing medical care to a Least Developed Country.

The free event takes place in person and online! Registration is required.

Stone founded Soft Power Health in 2004, a nonprofit, full-service medical clinic providing primary and preventative healthcare in Kyabirwa, Uganda.

Soft Power Health also operates six dedicated holistic health education outreach programs for malaria, malnutrition, family planning, domestic violence, organic gardening, and physiotherapy.

Rosenthal is a world-renowned scientist and professor. Her research has advanced regenerative medicine by elucidating the role of growth factors, stem cells and the immune system in tissue healing after injury. Her book, Heart Development and Regeneration (Academic Press, 2010), is considered the definitive text in the field.
