We are so excited to bring back Open Mic First Fridays!

All performers and poets are welcome! Share a poem, song, story, or other inspiration. 5 minute slots are limited and sign up begins at 5:45pm.

5:45-6:00pm: Sign up for open mic

6:00-7:00pm: Open mic readings

7:00-8:00pm: Visiting Poet

Poet and writer Mary Greene, retired, of Narrowsburg, NY, has been an active member of the writing community in the Upper Delaware Region since her move upstate from Brooklyn in 1989. She was founder and director of the Upper Delaware Writers Collective that taught creative writing to children and adults for many years, as well as curating poetry contests and festivals. Greene was a copy editor and editor at the River Reporter in Narrowsburg, and edited specialty publications such as The Literary Gazette, Our Country Home, and Amphibian the Journal for Kids by Kids. She was also employed as the NYS Grants Coordinator for the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance in Narrowsburg.

Greene received an MFA from Brooklyn College in 1989. She is the author of three small-press poetry publications and one book of essays.
