Horsemanship Clinic

In this 3 day clinic you will learn how to become a better partner with your horse by gaining respect on the ground and take that respect and apply it in the saddle. We will do ground work in the morning and riding exercises in the afternoon. The ground work will consist of desensitizing, moving the hip, shoulders, rib cage, backing, lunging and sending. The riding will consist of flexing left and right in the bridle, moving your horse forward at a walk, trot and lope on a loose rein, changing directions, stopping, moving the hips, shoulders, rib cage and backing.

Please let me know as soon as possible if you are able to attend. We will take up to 8 riders and the cost is $425 for the long weekend. Each day will start at 8 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m. with an hour lunch on your own.

Spectators are welcome with a fee of $30 to attend; 4-H kids at a discount of $15.
