Hood's Combat Pistol Match (Fall)

This is technically a two gun match. An AR15 style or fighting rifle, and pistol will be required to shoot the match. A rough round count will be 20 rifle rounds or less and 250 pistol.

The goal of this match is to make a true combat pistol match. Scenarios of your rifle going empty or getting damaged forcing you to use your pistol will be the normal. We will be using lots of fun match props to fit the theme of the match.

Competitors will be required to wear at least 5 rifle mags, a sling for the rifle, 3 pistol mags and a holster. At least one quart of water, and an IFAK (individual first aid kit).

We will have a separate division for new shooters called skill builder that will not require you to have all the gear or the rifle. Skill builder division scores will not count against the regular division. This is a good way to try this kind of match out without having to buy gear.

Bring extra pistol ammo, the 250 round count is a close estimate but you could shoot more or less based off how much you shoot.
