Nonviolent Non-compliance Training with Dr. Kate Ragon and Penn Garvin

Indivisible Clinton County/Indivisible Lock Haven is hosting an in-person training on how to practice non-cooperation with authoritarianism and the fundamentals of civil disobedience. The session will be facilitated by Dr. Kate Ragon and Penn Garvin (Pennsylvania Action on Climate) using curriculum on non-cooperation designed by Daniel Hunter and others at Choose Democracy ( https://choosedemocracy.us/).

Participants will…
-Understand the signs and threats of authoritarianism
-Explain the pillars of power that uphold all social institutions
-Review and practice the basic elements of non-cooperation
-Make a plan for how to apply the training content to their work

We’ll also get to know each other and enjoy a community meal. Please bring a dish to share if you are able!

The space we acquired can hold up to 40 people, so please RSVP to let us know how many to expect.
