MORNING SET: TBA
MATINEE: 2PM
SOIREE: 7:30PM
The connection of Jeff Tripoli and Sam Fishman was to be a destiny that would form the dynamic percussive duo. Named after their debut release, "Mendings of Time" explore improvisation, meditation, and minimalism with the intention of transporting themselves (and their listeners) to a "higher" plane of existence…
In 2004, Sam Fishman was appointed leader of the American Music Abroad Red Tour percussion ensemble. This experience forever changed him, and from that point on, he knew he wanted to lead a career in music performance. Sam is currently the drummer of Driftwood, a folk rock band that has shared the stage with Donna The Buffalo, The Infamous Stringdusters, and The Wood Brothers to name a few. Sam is in high demand for studio sessions, live performances, drum clinics and private lessons. When not performing, Sam can be found in the yoga studio, on the basketball courts, or out on the hiking trails.
Jeff Tripoli has toured professionally throughout the United States, Canada and Europe in the company of Canadian Celtic folk rockers, The Town Pants. With decades worth of headlining and selling out venues, TTP’s music spans six studio albums, two live albums and is backed with a legendary live show. Tripoli’s new record “Perspectives” is a psychedelic percussion album that showcases a brand new set of compositions with a deluxe list of special guest musicians. This unique release brings improvised drumming to an artistically satisfying platform.
“I would describe “Perspectives” as Percussion Ensemble Music for 2024 and beyond. Tripoli has seemed to find and write for many beautiful and unrecognized percussion sounds that we haven’t heard before. I love how Jeff mixes electronics, samples, and acoustic instruments and uses our own perspectives to frame his music. Wonderful!” - Mark Griffith
