Mini Herb Camp for Kids

This is a 3 day series of fun herbal and plant activities for kids ages 6-14, and will be held August 11th, 12th and 13th from 9:30 am-12:30 pm. Our time together will be spent learning about helpful plants, including common weedy plants, identification tips, using herbs for making herbal teas, herbal baths, soothing bug bites, and first aid situations such as cuts, scrapes and sprains, making plant identification journals, and making snacks and fun drinks with herbs and flowers. Each day will include a hands-on herb activity or craft project. Anyone who participated in last year's camp is welcome to attend again (and bring their plant journals to add more plants, or start a new one). Parents/guardians are welcome to stay if desired. The cost for the 3 day series is $95 and includes all materials, snacks and beverages. Registration is limited to 8 participants. Please advise of any food or plant allergies or sensitivities when registering.
