Step into the summer sun and experience the joy, humor, and heart of State Fair, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s only musical written directly for film—now brought to the stage by Jordan River Theatre Company.

Set in 1946 Iowa, State Fair follows the Frake family as they head off to the Iowa State Fair in search of blue ribbons, new adventures, and maybe even a little romance. With classic songs like “It Might as Well Be Spring,” “Our State Fair,” and “It's A Grand Night For Singing,” this charming and nostalgic musical is sure to delight audiences of all ages.

This production features a talented local cast of volunteers and lively choreography, guaranteed to bring the spirit of the fairgrounds to life.

Performances:
6:30 PM on Friday, August 1st, Saturday the 2nd, and Sunday the 3rd, with a Saturday matinee at 1:00 PM.
Location: Fr. Ruehl Hall — downstairs at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 120 W Main Street.
