Join us for an Accessible Birding event on July 26th at Saugus Iron Works National Historic Site!

Hello, bird enthusiasts! I'm Diego Benites, an intern with the Letโ€™s Go Birding program, and I'm thrilled to invite you to a special event celebrating our feathered friends. The event also includes a guided tour of the siteโ€™s environmental history.

๐Ÿ—“๏ธ When: July 26th, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with guided tours at 9:15, 10:15, and 11:15

๐Ÿ“ Where: Saugus Iron Works National Historic Site, 244 Central St., Saugus, MA 01906.

๐Ÿ‘ฅ Who: Everyone is welcome! Whether you're a seasoned birder or just curious about our avian neighbors, come join us!

๐ŸŒณ Activities: Immerse yourself in the world of birds with tactile models, arts and crafts, and a captivating bird call introduction.

๐Ÿ‘š Attire: Dress comfortably and appropriately for the weather.

๐ŸŒŸ Experience: No prior birding experience necessary! Beginners are warmly welcomed, and we'll have binoculars and sensory aids available for everyone.

โ™ฟ๏ธ Accessibility: Saugus Iron Works offers accessible parking and bathrooms. Most activities will take place in the main courtyard area, featuring paved walkways and open grassy spaces. Picnic tables and benches are available for those who need to rest.
