Sat 8/2, MCM Planter: Intro to Wood & the Woodshop with John

Our Woodshop classes are starter lo-fi wood project classes to get you comfortable using basic tools and working with wood. You will learn about saws, using a nail gun/ brad nailer, talk on varieties of wood, working with wood glue, sanding and techniques. We will talk a few wood basics with a woodshop tour and tool review. You will use various tools to create your planter box perfect for 3 medium plants or an herb garden. This shelf is perfect to get you started on your woodworking journey, help you feel comfortable and that also leaves you with a fun piece of home decor. Size is 24in wide x 8in high (box) x 4.5 in deep from pre-sanded high grade pine. Class includes $36 of wood & supplies.
