Community Health Fair

Getting into the doctor’s office can be difficult and expensive.

Valwood Park Baptist Church and Cornerstone Christian Church are excited to offer a FREE health fair on August 2 for the entire community! Join us from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm for an opportunity to receive free health screenings and speak with a registered health professional.

All attendees will receive a comprehensive medical check that includes a BMI assessment, blood pressure measurement, heart rate evaluation, and a blood chemistry screening. Results from your bloodwork will even be available later in the morning! Additionally, you can sign up to receive information on these topics of interest:

- Marriage and family counseling
- Psychology
- Skin care
- Financial consulting and Medicaid/insurance assistance
- Spiritual care

After you visit with the doctor, we will be serving free refreshments. Special activities are also available for children. As you wait for your results, enjoy presentations and workshops from our healthcare providers to help you improve your health!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please refrain from eating or drinking anything for 12 hours before your blood screening to ensure the most accurate test results.
