Attention Drummers and all who are interested in learning/playing djembe drums in a facilitated Drum Circle.
We use djembe and other percussion instruments and play mostly West African Rhythms. Some Cuban and Latin beats as well.
Sunday Drum Jam at the Blue Hole will be held every Second Sunday of the month at The Blue Hole Regional Park Pavillion Wimberley from 2pm to 4:00pm. Subject to change.
No experience required. Beginners Welcome.
Please bring extra djembe drums or any percussion instruments if you have them! If you dont have one some will be provided and 5 gal buckets work too.
Feel free to bring snacks and drinks. Staying hydrated is important.
*NO SMOKING* - includes sage and incense. ***Park Rules!***
* NO GLASS CONTAINERS*
Reminder:
This is an informally facilitated drum circle geared towards beginners. Experienced drummers/percussionists are also welcomed for the backbone of the circle.
This is simply a time to gather and share our vibrations in Spirit and raise our energy through music/meditation and make new connections. All are welcome, whether you play or not or just want to come listen.
The goal: Bring the community together one rhythm at a time.
It matters not our beliefs ideologies or culture, all are welcome.
Thank you again and we are looking forward to playing with you and raising the vibration and energy by way of rhythm.
In the circle, there is no head or tail
no one in front, no one behind, no one above, no one below.
If this is your first time, please familiarize yourself with the Guidelines. They are listed in the pinned post section.
At 2:00, we will briefly discuss some basic guidelines and best practices.
A safe and judgement free zone.
