Join the ‘Ukulele Club of Hawai‘i every third Saturday of the month at Center Court! Now a program of Four Strings at a Time. Enjoy a lesson by a guest instructor as well as performances, play- alongs, and prize giveaways. There are no dues. Participation is free and open to the public. Just bring a ʻukulele and a smile…they’ve got the rest! Members can find music sheets and video recordings on the Four Strings at a Time website.
The ʻUkulele Club of Hawai`i is a community-based passion project founded by Joe and Kristen Souza (Kanileʻa ʻUkulele) along with Bruddah Sam (Vaihi) and his wife Lina Girl (Hawaiian 105 KINE/Kanileʻa ʻUkulele). Created in 2006, for perpetuating the ʻukulele in their hometown of Kāneʻohe. The program has now been passed to Four Strings at a Time, a local non-profit spreading music education and ʻukulele to a broader spectrum.
