Nature at Night: Beaks, Feet & Feathers

What makes birds so perfectly suited to flight, foraging, and survival in diverse habitats? Join educators from Tri-State Bird Rescue for an engaging exploration of bird adaptations—from beaks and feet to feathers and flight patterns.
Using artifacts like skulls, feathers, and talons, you’ll discover how different birds are built for their specific lifestyles. Why do hawks have sharp talons while ducks have webbed feet? How does beak shape affect what a bird eats? Learn the answers through hands-on exploration and discover how Tri-State helps injured birds return to the wild.
Perfect for curious nature lovers of all ages—no live animals, but plenty of hands-on learning!
