At the age of eight, Mr. Mendoza learned to play the guitar with his father and uncle. He later began performing in bands in junior high school before joining a band with his aforementioned family members in his early 20s. Soon thereafter, his uncle recognized his talent and convinced him to pursue music professionally. Founding another band with his father, uncle, great uncle and brother, Mr. Mendoza subsequently recorded several demos prior to joining a band called Feedback and assumed hosting duties for regional open mic events until the COVID-19 pandemic halted live performances.
