About the instructors:

Mackenzie Ruaporo began his West Coast Swing journey at the age of 11 in Brisbane, Australia, and has since dedicated himself as both a dancer and teacher. As an experienced instructor, he is passionate about teaching in-depth technique and has developed a unique approach to integrating solo movement to push the creative expression for dancing in a partnership setting.
Raushaniya Maksudova took her first steps in West Coast Swing on a beautiful rainy evening by Lake Zurich, Switzerland. From that moment, she was hooked, finding in dance a way to connect with people all across the world. Before discovering WCS, she trained in Arabic belly dancing for several years, developing a strong foundation in body isolation and fluid movement.
Mackenzie & Raushaniya teamed up in 2023, and have since made waves in the scene with their distinctive choreography, engaging teaching style, and for tearing it up on the social floor all night long. With a hip hop flare in their dancing, they highlight the versatility of WCS, bringing fresh, dynamic artistry to every performance.
