Ecstatic Dance GR - WILD EXPANSION
Join us dancing in an ambient, lantern-lit space, designed to help you tune out distraction and connect more fully with your movement.
The focus will be on personal dancing and less on facilitation, so you can enjoy the dark, movement, and drop into self-exploration.
Our theme is Wild Expansion - held in a dark, low-lit space. Weβre creating a gently lit atmosphere to balance the bright, active energy of summer with the reflective, nurturing expansion within ourselves.

About Ecstatic Dance
Ecstatic Dance is a free-form movement practice - no choreography, no steps to follow. Itβs centered on release, connection, and authentic self-expression. A form of moving meditation.
These events are held in safe, intentional spaces that support presence, freedom, and inner exploration.
We dance without talking, without outside shoes, and without substances - creating a sober, grounded container to connect with your body and breath.
About The DAAC
The DAAC (Division Avenue Arts Collective) is a volunteer-run, all-ages, sober space dedicated to fostering creativity, connection, and community through art, music, and movement.
Located in the heart of Grand Rapids, The DAAC provides an inclusive, DIY-friendly venue where people of all backgrounds can gather, express, and co-create. It's a space built by and for the community - welcoming, safe, and full of heart.
Weβre honored to host this ecstatic dance in a space that shares our values of freedom, expression, and collective care.
