Welcome back to the 5th Annual Novelty Pool Float! I'm glad to throw this event again and this year on my own Birthday! I will be turning 25 of course (🤣🫣🫢) if we don't know math well.
Pick a novelty pool float you think will make it down the Salt river in one piece. In the past we have seen Ballon animals, F1 cars, Giant flamingos, and Chad tubes. Get creative! Reigning champ of floats is myself and my F1 car which has lasted 3 years of abuse! Is this the year the F1 fails? We shall see! We meet early so the parking lot still has availability. This year I will be passing out water proof potato sack trash bags. These are reusable and we will be picking up trash from the river along the way!
Things to remember:
Bring a backup floatation device, whether it be a river tube or a paddleboard. ( I tow my paddleboard behind my F1 car)
Bring a paddle so you don't just run into trees
Bring Water
Bring Sunscreen
Bring Snacks
Bring a dry box or dry bag to hold valuable and tie them down!
IF YOUR NOVELTY POOL FLOAT POPS, YOU WILL NOT LEAVE IT STUCK IN TREES, AT THE BOTTOM OF THE RIVER OR ON THE SIDE OF THE RIVER!!!! It is your responsibility to get it out. We are cleaning the river not adding to it.
Be responsible if you are drinking and have a sober ride home.
