Garden performance by Ukrainian folk dance ensemble ‘Mriya’

Birmingham’s “Mriya” (meaning “Dream”) folk dance ensemble boasts over 30 members hailing from various regions of Ukraine, all committed to celebrating and upholding the beauty and strength of the Ukrainian spirit through the art of dance. Enjoy watching students performing traditional dances from Ukraine under the guidance of choreographer Yana Kolodovska. Have a go at some dance moves too! Stay for refreshments after the performances.

The 'Good Vibrations for All Generation's programme of events and activities aims to bring communities together through music, dance and culture in Brandwood venues, green spaces and unusual places.
The programme is funded by the Birmingham Municipal Charity. It's part of the Brandwood Buzz vision to establish a Cultural Action Area in the Brandwood neighbourhoods of the Kings Heath area.
