This month’s Foyer Folk is a doubleheader.
Annie Duggan’s voice, both powerful and expressive, encompasses the grit and growl of the blues, the more mellow tones of country music, and the subtlety of the jazz stylists. She employs all of these devices within her repertoire performing original compositions from the pen of erstwhile collaborator Colin Granger.
Dik is best known as bassist, fiddle player, guitarist and vocalist with 70s folk-rockers Decameron, bassist and vocalist with former Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett, and currently as bassist and vocalist with the Julie July Band. Dik has worked with numerous performers including Mike D’Abo, Paul Jones, The Manfreds, Steve Ashley, international party band Top Catz, and alongside Pete Hicks as one half of the duo Cadbury-Hicks.
The pair join forces to bring you a truly memorable evening.
