Honestly, a new play about a compulsive liar will be coming to the St Peter’s Hall, Woodhall Spa at 19.30 on Sunday 21st September.
Honestly covers a tricky time in Chloe’s life when she has been caught and found guilty. She faces either prison or a gentler treatment for a mental illness. Is she a con or a victim? If a con, can she lie her way out of it all?
Meanwhile Emma has the job of determining just who and what Chloe is and she is in danger of buckling under Chloe’s endless twists and turns.
Honestly is both dark and humorous and based on a true story, ironically. The play takes a sideways look at what value we place on honesty in the 21st century. Isn’t it much easier to live inside a version of the truth that is comfortable and, if you don’t like it, simply move on?
Ticket prices are £15 adult and £8 concessions, including students 14-18.
