Lynda MacCallum has been involved in the performance horse industry for decades, specialising primarily in campdrafting & cutting. Lynda has had several milestone achievements such as Reserve Open Futurity Champion on ‘Metallic Storm’ in 2018, Non-Pro Classic Challenge Champion, and several Open and Non-Pro aged event championships at smaller futurity shows. Lynda has represented Australia twice in the USA as a member of the non-pro team and was inducted into the Non-Pro hall of fame in 2019.
About the weekend experience
The weekend kicks off with a "Cowgirls Over Coffee Session". Where you will be setting your goals and intentions for the clinic followed by “Feel and Timing” – exercises and “Riding with Intention”.
After lunch we will bring the mechanical cow into practice, as a tool to train a horse on many levels followed by working your horse on live cattle.
The Sunday morning starts with a “Setting up your day for Success” moment, followed by yoga, meditation and journaling. Don't forget your yoga mat!
The afternoon will be filled with a Goal Setting Session and "Picking Cattle" where you'll learn how to approach cattle and control a cow.
