Day Skipper (Sail) - 2 sessions

A great course taught on board our Sailing Vessel Northern Star (Bavaria 32) for aspiring skippers with some yachting experience and basic navigation and sailing skills. This course gives you the chance to take charge on short passages under instruction. You will concentrate on pilotage, boat handling, seamanship and navigation.

Your instructor will cover the following topics with you during your time with them: Preparation for sea, deck work, navigation, pilotage, meteorology, rules of the road, maintenance and repair work, engines, victualling, emergency situations, yacht handling under power, yacht handling under sail, passage making, night cruising
