After graduating from the Norwich School of Art and Design with a degree in illustration, Daren Mason set up a studio in London and worked mainly as an editorial illustrator spending 20 years freelancing for advertising agencies. Now a full-time artist, he also runs courses and workshops throughout Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.
Daren is passionate about the natural world for which its dynamic spirit provides him an endless source of inspiration. This exhibition is a series of pen and wash drawings of the wildlife we have on our doorstep here in Windsor. Daren wanted to celebrate the less glamorous species and give them their own well-deserved spotlight, exploring line work and a loose wash to give energy and life to these often overlooked animals.
Entrance is free.
