Parent Support Programme - Loss and Bereavement

Our FREE Parent Support Programme (PSP) is for parents/carers who support children or young people experiencing mental health and/or emotional difficulties.
Bereavement and loss can be a difficult topic to think about.
Western cultures do not prepare young people for change and loss very well.
Feelings of grief are individualised in western culture; the workshop will hopefully give us some time and space to think about this and how to help young people with feelings of loss.
For parents/carers of young people aged 11-25, the sessions will be delivered by clinical experts and will provide an opportunity to meet other parents/carers who support children or young people experiencing mental health and/or emotional difficulties.
This session will be held at Solent Mind Wellbeing Centre on Parchment Street. Please note, booking is essential.
