Bengalees of New England will celebrate 2025 Durgotsav on September 27th (Sat) & September 28th (Sun). Please join us with your family and friends to make this auspicious event successful. The event will be hosted at Winchester High School, Winchester, MA.
BNE Tradition is to maintain βgaharoyaβ pujo mood, this allows our patrons to comingle and socialize informally. Patrons gather here to make new friends and have a reunion with friends.
BNE will proudly present featured artists from India.
27th September (Sat) we will present Ranajoy Bhattacharjee β who is a lyricist, composer & music director. In USA he will be performing for the first time & that too in Boston. This is something beyond Sa Re Ga Ma Pa or Indian Idol. In addition, Ranajoy and his talented band members will entertain the audience with ethnic Bengali folk music covering - Baul, Bhatiyali, Jhumur, Bihu and other traditional and culturally unique forms of folk songs.
28th September (Sun) we will present Ujjaini Dipayan: Both of them will entertain the audience with a Dhamaka performance accompanied with their talented band members β a mix of old/new nostalgic songs and combinations of different genres of Bengali/Hindi melodious music. These two artists no longer need reference to Sa Re Ga Ma, they have gone far and beyond with their own talent to be recognized as well established on their own.
The special Pujo Event that will be observed on Sep 28th (Sun), 2025 is the special Sandhi Pujo conducted by our BNE special priest Arindam Chattopadhyay.
