CPFF Walk for Pulmonary Fibrosis – Nova Scotia (Yarmouth)
Join the Nova Scotia pulmonary fibrosis community on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Frost Park, 406 Main Street, Yarmouth. The event runs from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM ADT, and all are welcome—walk rain or shine.
Registration and check-in begin at 9:00 AM ADT, followed by opening remarks at 10:00 AM ADT. The official walk starts at 10:45 AM, taking you on a scenic 1.5 km loop through Frost Park, down Main Street, along the waterfront, and back. Afterward, complimentary sandwiches and snacks will be served until 12:00 PM. Participants who register on the day and donate $20 can upgrade to a boxed lunch.
This free community event honors those living with pulmonary fibrosis, remembers loved ones who have passed, and brings together family, friends, and healthcare professionals to build awareness and support. Walk as much or as little as you like, whether you choose to complete one lap or several, or prefer to sit and cheer on others.
The meeting point is at the park entrance by the parking lot. Free parking is available on Water Street, Main Street, or in the lot. Dress for the weather, bring your spirit of community, and prepare for a morning of meaningful connection and support.
