π¬ Spotlight Speaker, Melanie St-Pierre β Founder of The Art of Harmonizing Spaces
Melanie has called the Comox Valley home for over 20 years, where she has lived, raised her family, and grown deep roots in the community. A decade ago, she founded a successful house cleaning business that continues to thrive today β giving her a unique window into the energy, function, and feeling of hundreds of different homes and living spaces. Over time, Melanie became increasingly attuned to how a space feels β what makes a home feel calm, welcoming, vibrant, or, in contrast, heavy and uncomfortable. While cleaning, she often found herself imagining subtle changes β a different layout, a clearer surface, a softer focal point that could create big shifts in the mood and clarity of a room. Conversations with clients, family, and friends often naturally led to suggestions, rearrangements, and transformations in their homes, and the results were always met with surprise, delight, and so much excitement and gratitude.
From these experiences, The Art of Harmonizing Spaces grew into a business idea with the mission to support others uncover the natural beauty of their homes and make it shine through with intention, creativity, and harmony.
