Chicago July 30th and 31st Van Osdel book presentations and signings.

I'm honored and blessed to be going to Chicago aat the end of July to do two presentations regarding my John Mills Van Osdel biography which was recently published. The first one at the Chicago American Institure of Architects offices, hosted by both the AIA chapter and the Society of Architectural Historians chapter on July 30th is sold out at their 50 maximum allowable with a waiting list for cancellations. The second is on July 31st at Saint Ignatius College Prep and Van Osdel’s Holy Family church next to it. That will be attended by more people I understand but no limit on numbers. At this event my daughter Julie and I will unveil the Van Osdel oil portrait, whose photo appears on the cover of the book. It will be donated to Saint Ignatius for permanent display.
